how do you move mysql database files into main directory, without using mysqldump?
I need to get this from the backup drive to the main drive as a sql file and then to a new server altogether. I am familiar with moving forums from server to server, but I don't have a clue how to get those files from the backup drive into a single sql file. I tried to copy the database directory into a home directory, but it wouldn't let me.
Btw, it's not actually a backup drive, it's a dead drive and the files are in lost+found.
Can anyone advise me?
