Suggestions for a SCSI RAID controller

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on purchasing a SCSI RAID controller. In the past we've used the mylex 160/170 controller and have had great luck with those. Problem is that the mylex is a u160 controller and this will be a u320 system.

A little bit of background:

* The server will be Supermicro based.
* Most likey it will be 3 or 4 36 gig 10K drives in RAID-5 config.
* System will be running debian.

I'm looking for a card that is fast/reliable and most of all, plays nicely with the kernel so I don't have fits trying to install the OS and upgrade kernels.

The supermicro mobo has onboard Adaptec 7902 controller and can take a 2015S card to turn the on-board controllers into RAID controllers.

Give me your thoughs please,

Frank
