cpu maxed out...
Got this message a few minutes ago... it happens pretty much everytime my server's memory use reaches around 80%. The server has crashed a few times in the past because of that and it really annoys me. How can I prevent this from happening? What could be the cause?
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
This is cPanel stats runner on myserver.mydomain.com!
While processing the log files for user ****, the cpu has been
maxed out for more then a 6 hour period. The current load/uptime line on the server at the time of
this email is
23:42:28 up 7 days, 11:06, 0 users, load average: 1.03, 0.74, 0.66
You should check the server to see why the load is so high and take
steps to lower the load. If you want stats to continue to run even with a high load; Edit
/var/cpanel/cpanel.config and change extracpus to a number larger then 0 (run
/usr/local/cpanel/startup afterwards to pickup the changes).
