Server Admin Support - Need Suggestions
My team has reached our limit on what we know on something we want to implement and need help.
We simply want a server on the East Coast to mirror everything on the West Coast. Additionally, if connectivity fails at the primary location, I need all traffic diverted to the secondary location until connectivity is restored to the first, then traffic points to the primary location again.
So, I guess I need a cost-effective site mirroring solution and DNS failover without heavy maintenance (if that's even possible).
The reason I'm posting here is to see if anyone has done this, or can recommend a reputable company who SPEAKS ENGLISH and knows what the hell they're doing. I've paid for 2 companies now who didn't know jack and wasted my time and money because they were afraid to say "We don't have that skillset".
Anyone mind lending a helping hand or directing me to a company that does these sorts of things? I'll go to a local IT services outfit if I have to, but would much prefer someone who came recommended.
