Cluster or Fail-over?
I'd like to ask this group's opinions on this topic. I'm doing shared hosting right now, but would like to add some redundancy in case of hardware or software failure. What would you guys suggest in terms of costs, managability, and practicality? Cluster (or load balancing) or fail-over (one server active, one inactive on standby, monitored by heartbeat)?
I'm running Linux, current control panel is Ensim. My mail is hosted on a different server using Qmail and vpopmail.
