Is this setup too much for a Email/Web/SQL server ?
I wonder if the following setup is more than enough for a server which does the following task.
Purpose :
hosting of Forums (highly access)
MySQL
FTP
Setup :
intel 2.4B
MSI 845GE Max
Ultra 160 SCSI Raid (mirroring) with 2 * 36G
512MB DDR Ram
512Kb SDSL line
Based on the above, is the setup way too over power?
If I plug in a Celeron 2.0G processor, will it lower its performance?
