FortinGate firewall

One of our techs had suggested this firewall when we were thinking about going with a Cisco product. After this product has been already bought, its actually been a pain in the butt and has been extremly difficult to setup and run. So Im looking for alternatives/suggestions on firewall systems.
Something we could setup on roughly 40 colo machines.
