FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate 570958915 bytes

Dear all

Just earlier this week, we have upgraded all our servers to run PHP in CGI mode (PHPSuexec) and since then one of the gallery script stop functioning and is generating a Internal Server 500 error. In the error logs, this is the error:

FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate 570958915 bytes
[Thu May 13 16:25:01 2004] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Premature end of script headers: /home/xxx/public_html/photos/index.php

It sounds like it's out of RAM or SWAP, but it isn't. The system is fairly healthy. I also tried increasing the memory_limit variable to a value above the number above.

Anyone got any ideas? FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate 570958915 bytes
