Apache errors and server load increases

Recently, Apache has been failing on my srever once or twice a day and I get messages such as:

Apache has reached the MaxClients
limit. cPanel has increased the MaxClients limit to 200 (10 higher).

[maxfilescheck] Apache on has exceeded the maximum amount of openfiles

My website is www.cheapassgamer.com and is made up of Moveable Type and a PHPBB forum.

I haven't really had an increase in traffic so I am not really sure where the problem lies.

Any suggestions.
