Win 2003 Server vs Linux - which one should I choose?

I am on my way to order a dedicated server but dont know which platform I should choose.
The site which is going to run on the server is built on PHP/MySQL and using Apaches mod_rewrite, so Apache is required.

The hosting company have told me that I could either choose Linux och Win 2003 Server and I am not sure which one to choose...

I have no experience whatsoever of Linux, never been in touch with it. I have some experience of Win 2003 Server so from that point of view the choice should be simple. BUT how does the Apache server perform on Windows 2003 Server comparing with Linux?

Here is the server specs:
- Intel Celeron 2.2 Ghz processor.
- 256 MB RAM.
- 80 GB IDE harddive. 7200 rpm

Software Windows:
- Windows 2003 Server, Web Edition
- MySQL
- Mail Enable Standard
- MS FTP
- IIS
- MS DNS

Software Linux:
- Apache (with PHP, SSL & MySQL support)
- ProFTPD
- BIND 9 (DNS/Nameserver)
- Qmail (SMTPserver)
- wu.POP3 (Mailserver)
- wu.IMAP (Mailserver)
- SSH.
- Webmin admin

What choice would you do and why? I need advice.
Please help me out here. Win 2003 Server vs Linux - which one should I choose?
