Urgent! IPSec, RRAS and passive FTP
I have a doubt related to passive FTP and the use of RRAS or IPSec in Windows 2003.
I tried using each of those security resources in Windows 2003 and managed to make them work perfectly, except for passive FTP (which is a must for me).
I tried opening ports above 1024, but it still doesn't work. I was not able to open port ranges (1025 and above). Is that possible using IPSec or RRAS?
Would a software firewall allow me to open port ranges or negotiate ports with the client to open them as needed? If that's the case, which one software firewall would you suggest (please suggest one that will not block me immediately after installation, such as ZoneAlarm).
