Coppermine install problem (Imagemagick)

I recently had a friend ask me to install Imagemagick on the server because he wanted to use the Coppermine Photo Gallery that comes with Fantastico. We installed Coppermine on his account but when you go to upload a picture, you get the following error:

"PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed "

I installed imagemagick using Cpanel's add software link and everything is installed.
