Cannot delete MySQL Database in Cpanel

I tried to delete a MySQL database in Cpanel, but the database will still remain there although cpanel says that the database is deleted.

I have to login to WHM (root) to delete the database via phpmyadmin then it will work.

Can anyone advise me where the problem lies ?
