Server down every few days
I have a dual xeon2.8/2G ram box host with a large forum (for 400+ online at busy time),
my server down every few days, my DC told me:
Dear Customer,
When I plugged a console into your server.....this kept showing up:
IP_Conntrack : tablefull, dropping packet
Maybe the max # of connections is set in?? You can increase it with:
# echo "some_number" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_max
Which might resolve your problem, but I'm not sure so please look into it
