DNS and MySQL Problem!
I have got my server from Ipowerweb dedicated servers few weeks ago, however It seems like there are some settings I need to fix, I have been trying to since I got it, I'd appreciate any help. (tried to search for similar posts in the forum, havent seen any useful ones )
(1 DNS problem: Setting up the domain to connect to the server; the name servers:
I first setted up the ns to ipowerweb as the livechat told me but it didnt go well, i asked for help via e-mail, they told me i should point to my dedicated server name servers. I don't have a domain yet which is connected with my server to have a name server, ns1.$myserverip is impossible, that would not work either ..
(2 MySQL Problem: setting the permissions for the user
I have been getting "access denied for user" msg, I figured out that it's a permission-related problem.
Tried to do it using Shell accessing (using putty and tssh), first I had a problem with the pass, now I cannot even connect using PUTTY. Anyidea how to fix it if possible using PhpMyAdmin or to set up a php script to do the permissions?
