Ok I have 2 FTP servers running on a linux Box. PureFTPD on port 21 and glftpd on 1333. Pureftpd runs fine for me, so did glftpd until I installed APF. Now I have nothing but trouble with glftpd with PASV. I NEED glftpd running 24/7 as it is used for a software development team. Everything worked great until I installed APF, I KNOW it has to do with glftpd finding alternate ports when using PASV, question is HOW do I allow glftpd to use PASV while at the same time running APF?
Anyone have a clue on this issue? I do NOT want to open up ALL of the upper ports etc, is there a way to have glftpd tell APF to OPEN ports or something like that? All users connecting to glftpd can only do so from ONE IP each, so security there is fairly tight.
If NOT then is there a way to tell APF to leave open certain ports ONLY on ONE specific IP on the server? Never tried this before so ANY help would be appreciated.
