Apache 2 PerChild MPM

Well I wanted to discuss the PerChild MPM which will hopefully become a stable module soon. It hasn't really been discussed much and I think every shared web hosting provider should know about it.

I do think that it is what the shared web hosting industry desperately needs to offer real security to clients. Currently phpsuexec or various other options really limit the user which is not ideal... This new module would be perfect for securing servers.

Here are some questions:
When do you think this module will become available?
Does anyone have any knowledge about if its being developed on now?
Will it every be compatiable with PHP?
Do you agree with my view of how important it is to the industry?
