Rotating site access logs / Cpanel
If I were to use logrotate to archive individual site logs on a daily basis would there be any side effects to stats software (like analog, webalizer, etc)? I checked recently and one site I host on my servers had an access log of about 1.8GB in size; while I know linux is able to handle files of this size far more efficiently than windows, does it not still create more additional overhead for apache than say a 100MB log would?
I'm using CPanel, if it has any relevance.
