send mail SMPT login problem
I have recently set up sendmail. I can send and receive mail when I am logged onto the server. However when I try and use Out look express to connect remotely problems arise. I can pop the mail and read it and I can delete mail. However I can not send any mail. I have enter the SMTP as SMTP.myhostname, when I do this it ask for a username and password. I supply the username and password and then a few seconds later it asks me the same question. I have even tried using my root login and password but this has not worked either.
