Optimizing Windows 2003 TCP/IP stack for Serving

Hi Guys,

Just noticed how bad the default win2k3 tcp/ip stack is compared to linux. Doing tests between two datacenters shows the following result on a 6mb file:

DC1 - DC2 (Windows 2003): 30kbps
DC1 - DC (Linux RH9) : 160kbps

Other direction saw similair results, not there is a 240ms delay between the two DC's (USA - South Africa)

So, the question is - how can I optimise 2003 tcp/ip stack for better performance. Default is probably for LAN environments.
