Concurrent Users Question

OK, don't get all upset with me about 'how long is your piece of string'... I would greatly appreciate your opinions and wisdom.

Picture this:

2 web servers (rrdns load sharing)
2 database servers (one hot, one redundant spare mirror)
1 fairly medium to large dynamic corporate website with international appeal. - use amec.com for an example.

The servers would be something like HP Proliant DL 360 SCSI, Raid 1, 1GB RAM, Windows 2003 Server, etc. Plugged into uncapped bandwidth.

How many concurrent users would you reasonably expect this set up to cope with?

a) 0 - 100
b) 100 - 1000
c) 1000+

Is there somewhere that has these kind of figures?

Thanks in advance.

JF
