We have a number of domains pointing to our server and run a single back-end system and database that serves all the domains. We need to set up SSL but I've had a look through the various certificates offered by GeoTrust but am totally confused by the difference between their various products. Can anyone advise if they or anyone else have a product that can be used with multiple domains (not sub-domains) on a single server or alternatively suggest which is the appropriate certificate to use?
We're shortly moving to a new hosting infrastructure which will include two load balanced web servers and a separate SQL server. Would we have to have certificates on both web servers or all three?
