Connecting Active Directory Clients to Internet
I have a W2K Domain Controller with 2 nics installed and running DHCP for the Clients and DNS. I also installed Routing and Remote access.
From the Domain Controller I can go out to the internet without a problem.
I can ping an external IP from any Client and get a response but I am not able to ping an address from none of the clients.
I have the internal LAN NIC config as follows:
IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.0.0.0
DNS: 127.0.0.1
The External (Internet) NIC configured as follows:
IP: 192.168.1.51
Subnet: 255.0.0.0
GW: 192.168.1.99
DNS1: x.x.x.9
DNS2: x.x.x.10
The reverselookup Zone is 192.168.0.x.
Could somebody please tell me what I am missing? Please go easy on me as I am no MCSE.
