Nagios -- two questions
1. In /user/local/nagios/etc/contacts.conf (cfg?) how do you set up a notificaiton to go to multiple contacts?
Comma separate, colon separate, not doable?
2. We have a case with a client where the host check will state the system is down per /bin/ping -n -U -c 1 [IP]
Yet if I run the ping command -- "as is" --- on any server (internal or external), it works with no packet loss and fast times.
The manual for #2 states that the configuration must be wrong.
BUT
A. Does not tell you the correct configuration.
B. The configuration is stock (supplied by Nagios) with the only addition being the IP.
Is there a way to correct the problem in #2?
