2 server supplier and DNS
I'm using registersite.com basic account to manage my private DNS.
Here how it is setup:
I bought domain name francoisthibodeau and let the DNS to ns1.registersite.com and ns2.registersite.com.
In the control panel of the domain, I can add or edit nameservers based on your domain.
I did add ns1.francoisthibodeau.com and ns2.francoisthibodeau.com which are pointing to the IP of my DNS server at my first reseller account. This is working perfectly.
Now, I did the same thing for a new VPS acccount I got and I'm pointing NS3 and NS4.francoisthibodeau.com to the DNS server IP at my VPS account. This is not working.
The answer I got from the VPS supplier is:
You should change your domain "FRANCOISTHIBODEAU.COM" name servers from
Name Server: NS2.REGISTERSITE.COM
Name Server: NS1.REGISTERSITE.COM
to
ns3.francoisthibodeau.com xx.xx.xxx.y (with IP)
ns4.francoisthibodeau.com xx.xx.xxx.z (with IP)
If I do that, NS1 and NS2 wil not work.
Can anyone help on this one, I think I don't have the best setup for my type of services.
