Very Complicated Technicall Issues!! HELP
I am a web developer and i was working on a site, which shares an IP with other sites on my account. All the sites are hosted on the same server ppchosting.com (cyberprohosting.com).
So 2 days ago just like usual, i FTP and upload some files without a problem. About an hour later I try to load the site and wham bam .. no can do. All my sites on that server appear down. so i think ok the server is just down...
I go in to work the next day and on that computer the sites come up fine. When i get home to my shock the sites still won't come up.. in fact the FTP programs (dreamweaver, cute_ftp) wont even connect !!! Even worse the server's home page wont come up! But i have no other trouble viewing any sites on the net.
So i call the server wondering if my IP somehow got banned. Nope.. no problems on their end.
So next i flush my DNS, i delete all cookies, temp files, history, everything. Still none of the sites will come up.
I get on the phone with Cox Cable (im using cable internet) and ask them what the hell is going on. I go through three levels of techs to discover the IP I have is from a 'new batch' so they have to send my problem to the highest Tech's...
I wait and wait and when they get back to me 3 hours later they say the sites on the server come up fine from my IP when the use it... So they basically say they have no idea what my problem is !!!
At this point im ready to pull my hair out...
Anyone have any ideas WTH is going on!?
