High memory load, how to optimize it?
My server is AMD 2800 with 1024M RAM. (WHM/CPanel installed)
Recently I have less than 20 clients on this server. Some of the clients are using very high memory load, up to 10% each.
My server's memory load is 60%.
They are dynamic website with PHP+MySQL forums installed. However, I've checked the MySQL process, not too many. I've already set the my.cnf file so there shouldn't be a problem.
My server's CPU load is low however, below 0.10.
So why is the memory usage so high? I really can't figure out. They are just some forums which don't have high traffic. How could they suck up that much of memory?
I have a reseller account with a company, they have a P4 2.0G with 1024M RAM box, host more than 150 clients. Their memory load is only 70%.
Can anyone assist me on this issue? Is there anyway to optimize the memory load?
