An organization I participate in is thinking about moving from topica.com to a private mailing list, I'm wondering what would be required to host it. The list has about 2K users at any time, and people intentionally sign up so its not spam or anything. I've got a Celeron 2.4 @ ServerMatrix, would the suffice? The list generates about 10-20 messages a day max but usually averages around 2 messages per day. I was thinking I would use Mailman or Majordormo, any one have an opinion on these pieces of software?
