Best redundancy option
I have a problem with redundancy for my service.
There are several servers I own in different datacenters.
And I need to provide a maximum level of redundancy for it in case some of them go down or a datacenter loose a connection like Savvis today.
The problem is that I have currently software dispatcher/balancer running on one of my servers.
It checks if there is a problem with some servers and does not dispatch new requests there.
But if there is a problem with connection to dispatcher itself its bad
I have DNS clustering configured as well, but it does not help a lot. It takes hours till all users gets new DNS record
So, what can you suggest me to do in this case without huge investments?
Is there a service that can provide 100% up time for a load balancing service or something like that?
