RAID10 vs RAID5
I am building a server in need for large storage space, mostly database usage, and just wondering:
(1) which offers the most speed and redundancy? RAID 10 or RAID 5 ?
(2) in the event a drive fails, which will be easier to rebuild? RAID 10 or RAID5 ?
(3) Would SATA RAID10(or RAID5) have comparable read/write speed to SCSI RAID10 (or RAID5) ?
