FreeBSD ... Mail Issues Help !!!
I am having a FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE server and has many accounts hosted on it. There are many clients who is complaining that they are getting a SMTP mail rejected information as soon as they sent any mails to the account.
On searching I found out that the domain is not listed under /etc/localdomains . So I added the domain there. And the mail issue is getting temporarily resolved. But later on I see that the entry is again being deleted from the file /etc/localdomains .
Can anyone help me sort out this issue. I am new to FreeBSD and don't have much idea to work on it. I know that if you set the chattr +i option in other distributions then the entried will not be removed. But I see that there is no chattr command in our FreeBSD server.
I was told that there is a chflag command similar to chattr in FreeBSD, but I don't know how to set it with that command.
*We do have a cpanel server.
