Does the latest version of FP Extensions for Linux support FP 98 ??

Some of my clients are having problems to connect to their account via FP 98. I am using the latest version of FP Server Extensions that is supported by Cpanel.

I read that FP 98 support has been dropped in the newer FP Extensions versions. Is that true ?
