ASPX pages not serving

Hello.

I have windows2003 server with iis6.
the problem for me is that. the pages with .aspx is not getting..

instead iam getting the error

HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

I have allowed ASP.NET in the IIS web extension....

i am working for this for the last 3 hours..
pLease help..
