Exim processes staying alive...killing the server

Hi,

I have a problem with Exim... One of my users seems to have a large mailing list. Every time when someone sends emails to that list the system tries to send one email with like 100 recipients rather than 100 separate emails. Now some of these email addresses are not working so the message stays on the queue. Exim now tries to send the message permanently. That means I have an Exim process running all the time taking 100% of available CPU power and it never stops before you remove the message from the mailing queue or restart exim...

What can I do with this ? Can I change the exim configuration so that it will not try to send this email forever but only like once every hour or something ??

Thanks for any help !
