MAC ftp'd zip not compatible with PC
We have been experiencing a problem with a zip files for a while - we have tried a number of things, and some of them have worked only part of the time.
The problem is this...
We have a customer who only uses Mac's (they don't have a pc in the office and do not want to get one just for this purpose). They need to upload a weekly zip file to our server containing the updates to their site so we can update it. In the zip contains quark files, approx 10-15 of them with an overall zip size of anywhere from 49-300 megs.
However, 95% of the time this zip file can not be read by us (yes, every once in a while a zip uploaded by them from the Mac can be read, but it's rare). Most of the time, they have someone else with a PC (not from their compny) upload it for them which works fine.
Sending us a cd or any other resolution that involves avoiding ftp-ing of the file is no good - the material is time sensitive and if we can not get it ftp'd to us in this fashion then there will be a problem.
Any ideas?
