Removing unneeded files, directories and programs.
I am currently pondering on the question of removing files and directories that are not needed on a Linux server. Hold would one know about these files and directories.
Moreover, programs, there must be some programs that are installed and are not needed for a server when you install Linux, is it necessary to remove these programs do they propose a threat to the system in anyway? How would you identify the programs that are not needed?
As Linux Administrators it would be nice to know what it is you do in respect to the topics in my questions.
