CentOS 3.4 (RHE 3 Update 4) is out. Have fun

Dear all

Many of you I know uses CentOS. So here's a heads up that it's out and you can just let the nightly updates update it to the latest version in a day or 2.

If you are in a hurry, here's how:

rpm -ivh
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/3.4/...5.3.noarch.rpm
rpm -Fvh
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/3.4/...3-4.2.i386.rpm
yum update

Have fun.

We updated about 40 servers so far. It has been working fine. Just be careful with Bind. On about 70% of the servers, the named.conf got reset to a default named.conf. So make sure you check after the update to make sure it didn't happen to you.

If it does, RPM made a backup of your old named.conf as /etc/named.conf.rpmsave. Just move /copy it to /etc/named.conf restart and you are on your way.
