FTP Problems on new server

We just got a new server and i finnaly got it all working or so i though , i got a test page running , www.shrecords.co.uk and thats all working but i cant log into any accounts via ftp (i uploaded that index by file manager if your wondering) . I keep on getting the error:

530 Authentication failed, sorry

Although the pass and user name is fine it says, do i need to set something up within my WHM pannel ? Help please....
