Error Log - unable to get shm cache

One of the servers I have has its error_log full of this error:

[Sat Jan 29 03:44:29 2005] [warn-phpa] unable to get shm cache (pid 10512)


Could someone please explain to me what it means, and how it can be fixed?

The server performs well... this is just annoying me.
