16,262 hits from one i.p.

that's 16,262 hits in one 24-hour period... for the second time in two months, something has been repeatedly hitting the same files on my site every second or two.

this time i can find no record of the i.p. being used in any kind of blackhole or abuse report, and it's not listed on wht, but you should check it out for yourself: 196.192.47.71

i'm running on a shared server, apache i believe, but since it's not my server, i don't know of any script that i could install to prevent this from happening.

i'm banning these i.p.'s as they happen, but i wish that i had a better solution!
