SuperMicro IPMI not working correctly
When I got my server with IPMI, I followed the manual by flashing the firmware and setting a IP and the MAC address for LAN port 1.
Everything worked fine so far. The only problem I am having right now is that I am unable to connect to IPMI as soon as FreeBSD boots up and sets up network connection. The IP on which IPMI should be running doesn't ping anymore either.
The thing is that IPMI is working fine when the machine is shut down, for example: I am able to "power on" the server by IPMI.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
