Backup Solution Help
We recently took raidarray.net up on their 100GB backup for $25 deal. However, we are having very very slow speeds. The servers running the backup are located at The Planet and they are located in NY. When we FTP to the backup we can download at 400K/s. When we try to rsync to the backup solution via SAMBA mount it gets around 50K/s. They are telling us to use NFS. Will this really affect the speed? We tried starting the NFSD on our RH9 server and it locked up.
