AWSTATS and WEBALIZER shows different numbers

I have directadmin working with AWSTATS and the included Webalizer running for a customer.

The fact is that the number of visits reported by AWSTATS and Webalizer are excessively different..

For instance for March 17 AWSTATS shows 17 visits
while WEBALIZER shows 224 visits.

What can be wrong?
