Hello, I run Half-Life dedicated servers on my Linux boxes, and im trying to improve them all i can. I dont know much about Linux, so anything would probably help. Im not looking for HLDS improvements, but yet OS improvements that will help with me hosting game servers. So far all i have done is started the game server with a pretty good startup line (HLDS related, nothing to do with my box) and changed the priority of the processes using these commands:
renice -20 [pid#]
-20 is the highest level of priority? riight? i know its -20 to 19...
What else could i do to improve connection speeds and stability of my box? Contact me via AIM or MSN if you can help me, or just post here, thanks..

Edit: Sorry, forgot to add that im running Fedora Core 2 on a P4 3.06Ghz from steadfastnetworks.com The Mid-Level Server Plus at their site, everything standard
