How to have redundant sites?
I have a question, that is pretty basic - but I have been looking for the answer for awhile.
What I want to do is have redundant sites. Have one server automatically backup to another server (which is simple), and when (or if) the one server goes down I would like it point to the backup server. I only want it to point to the backup server when the main server is down however.
I know this has to do with setting up the DNS server, however I am not entirely sure how to do this. If someone could either tell me how to do this or point me to a tutorial I would be very grateful! If there are any services that offer something like this I would appreciate links to them as well along with any feedback.
