Powerchute (APC) crashing without motivation
I am using APC's Powerchute Business Edition (Basic) on Debian Sarge.
Unregularly, but at least once a week, f.e when the weekly cron job was running the Powerchute agent dies.
Nothing in the syslog, so that doesnt help unfortunately.
Apart from the fact that Debian is not in the list of supported OS :-)
is anybody else out there who is running a similar setup ?
Would be real pleasure to hear from you. Let me know how you fixed the issue ;-)
No hoestly, if anybody knows how I should best approach this issue would be nice.
I was thinking about strace, but the point is I cant tell exactly when Powerchute decides to crash, so I might have to wait 7 days in worst case ;-)
Any ideas ?
