CNAME setup problem
I am transfering my website from a shared host to a dedicated server.
I have access to Plesk 7.5.2 on the new server and I added my domain and DNS info in there already (but I havent pointed my domain name to the new NS servers yet so that my website can still operate from the old server while I move the files)
I was trying to add a CNAME record on the new server but I keep getting an error that the canonical name cannot be resolved.
I am pretty sure I am filling out the correct info. I'm inputting the same thing that I currently have entered in the DNS settings on my current server (for the CNAME part)
In order to be able to add a CNAME do I have to point my domain to the new NS servers first?
