Interesting Problems --- DNS
hrmm.........alright make it simple, this problem...I seen it 2 years ago..and now it is happening again.
Legend:
Server A --- cPanel Server
Server B --- cPanel Server
(Both servers on the same switch + same datacenter)
>>> --- ping
Problem
When we try to ping each other with IP addresses -- it works
When we try to ping with domain name -- it doesnt work.
Server A >>> Server B = It works
Server B >>> Server A = unknown host
Server B >>> google.com = it works
Server B >>> apple.com = it works
Server A >>> google.com = it works
Server A >>> apple.com = it works
Between these servers' configuration
/etc/resolv.conf
Server A has datacenter's nameserver on it
Server B has itself nameserver on it.
So, what is actually the problem? Well, it is not critical but it is weird to me.
