Moving 13GB of Files to New Server
I own a website which hosts around 13GB of videos. I just purchased a new unmetered server from allmanaged, but I need a way to get all the files there as easy as possible. My thought was to archive them into a zip or tar and then use wget on the new server. However, when I attempt to create a zip it fails after the file gets to be like 6GB, and when I create a tar it fails when I get to around 9GB. Is there anything I can do to get it to work? Or does someone have a suggestion as to a better way to go about it?
