Do Not Use Imagemagick
HelloI have a client that runs a news site under my reseller account . This site uses TYPO3 CMS that it uses ImageMagick for ImageProcessing . They have some images that their maximum size is originaly about 600x400 pixels and on their homepage there is about 20 images that needs image processing and resizing to sizes under 100 pix.
The server said us today that you should stop these image processing on this site at all because "causing a detrimental effect on the server for other customers and services to fail." and when I ask them to reduce image magick usage they said no , I should stop it at all . So I decided to move this site to somewhere else .
But I have some problems . Please help me ...
*** If I move it , will it happen on another server again and is it a normal problem that every server should avoid this to happen ?
*** If is it normal and I should have a separate server for their site , should it be a site on a server or I can have some another sites beside it ? and is imagemagick pressure is too high so every server should be aware of using it ?
The current server is PENTIUM II 2.4 with 1 GB RAM ... This is an example server status at midnight (out of our official hours) :
